Also, Hubstaff can be integrated with PayPal. This means that you’ll have an advantage over Time Doctor as PayPal is one of the most popular payment apps in the world. Hubstaff will help you send your employees the correct payment for their hours worked, and you can directly send them the money through PayPal as a result.

Hubstaff Supporting Features

These are the main features that you’ll experience when using Hubstaff:

User Interface

Hubstaff’s UI is made with a left-rail navigation bar that gives a lot of room on the right side of the screen for analysis and data entry.

When you get through the hubstaff login screen, you will be sent to the main dashboard where you can see the total hours of your employees work shift. It allows you to see how much they’ve worked throughout the past seven days.

Employee Monitoring

Hubstaff’s employee monitoring feature is one of the best in the market. The software has features such as application and URL monitoring, activity screenshots, keystroke logging, and location monitoring.

Once you’ve placed the users’ name on the platform, they can download the Hubstaff app onto their desktop. The desktop version doesn’t just take screenshots at random intervals but also tracks activity provided by the keyboard and mouse. As a result, employers have an accurate overview of the productivity of their employees.

One unique feature that separates Hubstaff from the competition is the GPS tracking. While the mobile app is unable to take screenshots of your employees, it gives you the log location of every employee that’s working for your company. Thus, making it a very useful app for companies wanting to track the behavior of everyone that’s working with them.

Cons

  • No IP Address Restrictions: While Hubstaff is a good employee monitoring app, it doesn’t let you restrict unauthorized IPs. This can lead to your workers reporting false locations unless you tell them to send a webcam screenshot.
  • No Shift Oversight: Hubstaff doesn’t have in-depth tracking analysis. For example, it won’t allow you to find out what your workers are producing at a given time.

Conclusion

In the end, Hubstaff is one of the most affordable and reliable employee monitoring apps out there. Once everyone starts to use the app, it’s easier to track their performance and determine their hours worked throughout the week. So if you’re a small business who needs better administration tools, give Hubstaff a shot.
